this is for the skilled do-it-your-self-er.
once you carfully remove your interior door panel,
it's not that hard to replace this part.
saved over $400 vs. dealer repair!!!

The door lock actuator was broken on my 2006 Scion, so I couldn't use my remote control to open and close the driver side door. I found the repair of the actuator to be quite costly, so I decided to repair the unit myself. The unit is working fine, haven't had any problems in over a year.

We used to replace the actuator in my 2004 lexus. Was a little hard to get to. But works awesome.
