5Awsome Lights
By Kevin
I just got the lights installed and all I can say is wow. These lights are awsome, it took about a 1 1/2 hours to install not the 30 minutes. The switch shown in the picture is different then the one that I received. The one I got you do not have to drill a big whole in your mounting surface insted you just have to use two screws. I did not use the one that came with it whitch would work just fine, I just wanted a lighted switch. I was disappointed with them at first when I opened the box, they where alot small than I had thought about 1"x2 1/2". But after I had installed them I was no longer disappointed. These lights are very bright and will light up the entire box with easy. After showing them to other people they are now wanting some. If you use your box alot these are worth the money. I have a box liner in my truck whitch is were I chose to mount the lights using the tape and so far they are holding up, if not the lights have a tab on them were you can screw them to your box, screws don't come with the lights just the switch.

2Nice idea - could be better
By ray
Pros:
- lights are bright. Not blinding, but certainly worth having.
- great idea and I'm glad they're on my truck

Cons:
- Did not come with any of the hardware advertised. No screws, power switch, or anything. Only came with two light strings.
- Each string is only 4 feet long (4 lights - 1' apart). Considering I have a 6.5' bed I was a little dissapointed. I would have prefered more spacing between the lights, or more lights per string.

Overall they're nice. But knowing what I now know, I would have likely bought another brand.

5Very bright, easy install, spliced into trailer harness
By M. J. Delaney
I was a little hesitant to install this myself, but it turned out to be fairly simple. All the hardware came with mine, unlike the other reviewers. I put the switch at the back drivers side of my box so I can reach it with my tonneu cover on. I ran the power down under the box and spliced into the red 12v power on the trailer harness. My 2009 Silverado didn't have power to that 12v wire yet, there is a loose wire under the master brake cylinder that needs to be connected to one of the posts on the front of the fuse box, you might have to get a 40a fuse to get it working. I'm not sure why they don't come hooked up already. So far I love the lights, they're blindingly bright. I couldn't get them to angle down at 45 degrees like the picture shows, but they seem to work great just pointing straight out.
