OEM Quality and Fitment at a great price!

Great headlights, even came with bulbs installed. Have had these on the car for quite some time and no real complaints. One issue we had was bouncing of the headlight due to the poor design of the cavalier mount for the light. It's a rigid mount on the top, and a spring clip retainer on the bottom. Our car is not perfect, so it could be due to the bumper alignment. At any rate, using a pair of long needle nose pliers to expand the spring clip to add tension after installing will ensure the light does not bounce. I see many cavaliers on factory housings with flickering headlight issues - so I know this is a common issue due to the design, not from these lights. The bulbs included were a nice touch. We purchased these to replace the nasty hazed factory headlights. The difference in the cars appearance was night and day and would more than make your money back when selling a vehicle. The light output for these flood the area and are very bright not focused like the newer pro jection style units, so ensure you align them lower than normal or people will flash their lights at you at night.

Side note, for some time I thought we had a faulty bulb (replaced the headlight bulbs with silverstar ultras). Turns out, the female plug on the headlight connection has some very weak springs inside which collapsed and caused a bad connection sometimes after hitting a bump the light would go out. I used a dental pick to reset the springs on the connection. To some, this would be seen as a poor quality headlight, but for the price I'd gladly pick a few springs. No signs of hazing or oxidation on these units and no condensation inside the lens after a few years.

They Work but pay attention!

Products arrived well packaged as a pair and as a Bounce they even come with Headlight bulbs! After installing bulbs I failed to notice the adjusting screws are not fully retracted and this will cuase you some intallation issues. Also If you are installing after some front end damage even minor dmage pay attention and make sure all brackets and body panels have been bent back to their original locations or once again you will have installation issues. I Found the bottem stem with the body clip is short by about 4 millmeters and as such the head lights will shoot about 10 feet shorter then the OEM one but for me this is not an issue as the brighter lights I had purchased when on sale at christmas time still gave me enought light. The other issue is with the install of the left light. Since the Screw was out when I put the bolts in and let go the plastic cracked! This was due to the screw being all the way out on the light which happend to be the second one I installed. All in all if your just replacing foggy lens covers and also need new head lamps this would be a suitable replacement. The inside retaining bolt is also covered by a plastic cover that has retaining plugs that are a pain to remove without the correct tool but can be done if you use 2 flat head screw dirve carefully.
